本厂始于2000年4月，属农副产品私营企业，以加工花生、红薯小食品为主。原有固定资产38万元，今年新投入30万元，流动资金86万元。年加工生产能力2500吨，2004年实现产值600万元。现有员工30人。于2004年11月荣获中国?湖南（国际）农博会金奖；2004年荣获“县企业”奖。 本产品以注册“雪政”牌，2005年产品荣获“无公害食品”。
